About iHelp:

iHelp is a volunteer project organized by the Student Alumni Ambassadors that unites more than 1,200 undergraduate and graduate students. iHelp participants meet on the Main Quad, then disperse to volunteer at more than 40 separate volunteer projects in the surrounding community. In 2008, iHelp assisted 38 agencies and offered 3,600 hours of community service throughout Champaign-Urbana.

This campuswide day of service allows students to:

• Collaborate to improve the societal issues that are present in the Champaign-Urbana community and beyond
• Make a dramatically positive change in the community environment for a day
• Interact with a diverse student body for invaluable life lessons outside of the classroom

iHelp annually encourages over 1,200 students to participate in the Champaign-Urbana community.

How to Participate

Individual Registrations:

Please register online by clicking the register button above and selecting 1 ticket for "iHelp Registration" or "Create your own". You may be partnered with others interested in serving their community. We may contact you via email or cell phone (if you provide it) to update you with important information.

Group Registrations:

Every member of a group must register online.

Directions:

1. First pick a person to be your group leader / project manager. You will need this person's email address.
2. Make sure the group leader registers online, with their own email listed in the "Team leader email field". If you want us to assign you to a service activity, select the general "iHelp Registration" If you would like to plan your own service project select "Create your own iHelp Service Project"
3. Everyone in the group can register individually online. Be sure to answer YES to "Are you participating in iHelp as a member of a club or group?" question. To make sure you are grouped together,  team members who register should use the team leader's email address in the appropriate field on the online registration form.
